Although over 200 years old, the cottage has recently been refurbished to a very high standard, with en-suite bathrooms, modern kitchen and conservatory/dining room added. Many original features have been retained with oak beams and fireplaces. Situated on the edge of the Peak district, 3/4 of a mile from the village Ipstones with store, butchers, Post office and four pubs serving good food. Only 2 miles from the beautiful Churnet Valley Railway and just 15 minutes drive from Alton Towers. Lovely walks from the door and very close to RSPB Coombes Valley Nature Reserve and Froghall Wharf. The cottage is also well placed for visits to Buxton, Ashbourne, Dovedale, Ilam and the Manifold Valley. The Wedgwood factory and Potteries are all within 18 miles.
